the voices outside decided for him. shouts of "Find the World Noble scum!!!", "Make him suffer as much as we did!", "BURN HIM, KILL HIM!" sounded so near and so loud, that the terror of being caught makes Rosinante scramble on his feet and starts running.
the only curious thing about this is that he doesn't run towards the other exit; no, he ran towards the stranger instead, clutching at the man's clothes with shaking hands. ]
