the sudden realization that he's trapped, caught, with no hope of escape rushes in him all at once. complete terror steadily and quickly rises, and his breath starts coming in short and fast-- the beginnings of a panic attack
and Rosinante could only stare back at the man with wide, wildly terrified eyes, uncomprehending of whatever was being said to him.
